The MUD is seeking applicants to fill a director vacancy on the Board. Responsibilities of a director include participating in setting water rates, tax rates, determining operational policies and other matters that may come before the Board.

To qualify as a director, an applicant must be at least 18 years old, a Texas resident, and either own land subject to taxation in the district or be a qualified voter within the district.

Directors receive a fee of $150 per meeting for their service.

If you are interested in applying, the Board will be interviewing candidates at the regular Board meeting on July 5, 2022 at 6:30 p. m. at the Shady Hollow Community Center at 3303 Doe Run Drive.
