The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issues a Flash Flood Warning for Central Travis County in South Central Texas until 7:15 p.m. CDT.

At 4:09 p.m. CDT, Doppler Radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 3 to 4 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Airport, Tanglewood Forest, Windemere, Manor, West Lake Hills, Rollingwood, Barton Creek, Onion Creek, Shady Hollow, Manchaca, Sunset Valley, San Leanna, Camp Mabry, Del Valle, Lost Creek, McKinney Falls State Park, and Wells Branch.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions: Turn Around, Don’t Drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
